Finding Ways to Pivot Together

Providing individualized clinical care helping you to pause or to shift towards the growth you want to see.

Let’s build upon your resilience

Welcome! I’m Dr. Samantha Ladell, the founder of Pivot Psychology. I specialize in treating mood, anxiety, and related stressors using an integrative approach that incorporates evidence-based treatments, mindfulness, and attachment theory to best meet the needs of you and your family.

My goal is to collaborate with you to find ways to pivot and create the life you want to live. We will work together to understand your resilience and create strategies to meet your goals. By focusing on building coping skills, paying attention to deeper emotions, & working to get unstuck, you will develop the tools you need to pivot in the direction you want to go.

Why Pivot?

Pivoting is about change. Sometimes changes are forced on us and sometimes we choose them. More importantly, pivoting is about taking a pause. To pivot you need, first, to pause – that pause might be a moment right before you make your next move or think your next thought or that pause might be longer to help shift the direction you are going. That pause might build in space to help you accept where you are so you can build the life you want to live.

There is power in pivot. The ability to pivot, to pause, and to shift takes strength, requires building on momentum, and a capacity to adapt. It can be scary and difficult and you might feel stuck. It is not always linear.

You can pivot. You can pause. You can shift directions.
